HBK spoke with The Coach in his locker room following the show and very passionately described his opportunity to stop being "the nice guy" and deliver a solid attack on Christian in his "backyard" of New York City. Very good interview from HBK with some very real emotion behind it.

London was bleeding profusely from the nose and had to be stitched up backstage.

Tonight on Smackdown, they hyped the return of all five in the monumental Season Premiere, 5th Anniversary Show for next week. Along the lines of an actor accepting an award from an "on location" setting via satellite, it appears that the five former mainstays on Smackdown will appear in a similar way.

The brawl occurred backstage after a segment involving the two wrestlers apparently didn't go as planned.

The article highlighted the great accomplishment that was Triple H's win and did nothing to suggest that outside interference contributed to Triple H's victory. The article made it appear to be a clean finish with Orton just being out-played.
- Smackdown Houseshow Results - London vs. Kidman. Apparently, WWE is going to feature the two former partners against each other on Smackdown, with this match being a preview of their TV matches to come.
- Smackdown Weekend Houseshow Line Up in Calgary. The original houseshow line up had John Cena vs. JBL for the WWE Smackdown Title and Kurt Angle vs. Eddie Guerrero. The card was revised and four matches were added.
- Smackdown Rating, John Cena, WWE Diva Search Contestant Carmella, Arrested. Zap2it.com featured a story on the Thursday night broadcasts which showed Smackdown coming in dead last for the 18-49 key demographic with a 1.2 rating.
