Really solid opening match. I thought London and Kidman had a great chemistry working together. Rey
needed more time in the ring to get his hands on Spike. The crowd being dead for most of the match
except for London's high spots basically foreshadowed the rest of the night. Nice finish showing that the
bullies on the block are for real. Good solid match.

What? No twist? No turn? No write off of Matt Hardy from the storyline because he's injured for six to eight
months? What the heck is this all about? All of that time I spent trying to figure out the storyline went for
naught. The match itself was good. Too bad Matt is out for six months. He showed great intensity and skill
in the ring. Really nice effort from Matt. Lita had good facials and expressions throughout. Kane lost some
heat from getting pummeled for the majority of the match.

Booker T. and Cena didn't really make this feel like a special match in a pivotal series. If this was a playoff
game for the World Series, there's no way Booker T. is passive and doesn't go for the victory when he has
the chance. That's not smart. That's why this match wasn't as good as it could have been because it didn't
make sense for Booker T. not to treat this as an important opening series match.

So Toronto doesn't like their hometown boy? Did he go on TSN and bash Toronto Saturday night or
something? Goodness. The match was definitely too one on one. One person would get knocked to the
outside and then it would be one on one for three minutes or so. Really not a well planned match. I guess
Edge getting the upperhand on Jericho means he isn't the punk that Jericho made him look like. I wonder
if Edge officially turns heel on Raw tomorrow night.

I really can't understand why Toronto fans are not into Eugene's character. Pushed too fast, too soon? I
mean, what is it? Ross and Lawler did their best to play off the crowd reactions, but it was impossible to
spin that. The storyline was advanced to the point that Eugene has nothing good going for him which
could lead to him making the leap to Smackdown. Triple H was a little bit off his game tonight. Maybe it's
because he wasn't in the main event.

This match was about two things: 1) proving that Eddie Guerrero is more than capable of wrestling Kurt
Angle at his own game and 2) proving that Kurt Angle is the best wrestler in the WWE. Angle was up to the
task with a very nice and methodical gameplan that built up to the finish. Very fine use of the constant
ankle holds to wear down Guerrero. If the crowd was actually there for a wrestling event, they would have
understood the high quality of wrestling they witnessed. Real nice match.

Well, the proverbial restart button was hit on the Raw Women's Division storylines. I guess Victoria vs.
Trish will be the hot issue for the rest of the year. This had to be scripted because there's no way Molly
Holly and Jazz throw some of the weak throws that I actually saw. Horrible floor wiping.

This seriously had to have been the worst crowd response to a match I've ever seen. No one does a wave
in the middle of a Title Match. That's disrespectful and a shame. The finish of this match told me that
Undertaker is completely unwilling to do a job for the betterment of Smackdown or that the writers don't
have the balls to ask Undertaker do a job for the betterment of the company. Really poor match finishing
sequence that didn't help win over any fans.

Did Toronto actually realize they were watching two of the greatest wrestlers alive today battle it out in the
main event of a WWE PPV for the World Title? I mean come on. Show some life! The fact that Orton won
the belt knocked my "Finish" rating down a notch. I don't feel that Orton should have won the belt. He
needed a little chase scenario to make it seem like something special for Orton. Really good wrestling
throughout the entire match. Great post match sequence that made this match acceptable for me. I liked
the respect Orton showed for Benoit to close the show. Real nice babyface respect seed planted there. I
think Orton could be a super edgy babyface.
